Position: Pub Manager
The King’s Head is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and imaginative Pub Manager to lead this much-loved village pub into an exciting new chapter.
East Hoathly is a thriving village with a strong sense of community and a busy calendar of events, including Carnival, Boxing Day Pram Race and The King’s Head Canter. The pub plays a central role in village life, and we are looking for a manager who shares our passion for community, hospitality and great pubs.
As Pub Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of The King’s Head. You will deliver the vision set out in our Business Plan, building and leading a strong team to ensure the pub continues to be welcoming, successful and sustainable for years to come. The pub is truly at the centre of village life, and food will play a key role in its future success. We are looking for a Chef who wants more than just a kitchen job, and to be part of something bigger than just a pub.
Working closely with the Pub Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, well-executed home-cooked food that reflects the character of the pub, the expectations of our community and the vision from our Business Plan.
You will have the opportunity to shape menus, champion fresh and seasonal ingredients, work with local suppliers and producers, and build a kitchen team that takes pride in everything they do.
